Week 14 College Football Bets
Kevin goes through his favorite bets of the Week 14 college football season.
Last week was a clean sweep! We went 4-0 with our Week 13 picks, and the momentum is on our side as we head into Week 14. As the regular season winds down, teams are fighting for bowl eligibility, conference title spots, and pride, which makes these games all the more thrilling—and unpredictable. But we’re locked in, dialed into the matchups, and ready to keep the winning streak alive. Let’s break down our top picks for Week 14 and look to finish the season strong!
Oregon State +19 Versus Boise State
The Beavers snapped their five-game losing streak last week with a gritty comeback win over Washington State, pulling out a 41-38 victory with a late rally. Ben Gulbranson threw for 294 yards, but his two interceptions kept things close, while Trent Walker was a standout with 12 catches for 136 yards. Despite the win, Oregon State has struggled to put together a consistent season, averaging 25.9 points per game on offense while allowing 29.5 points defensively. Their ground game, led by Anthony Hankerson’s 972 yards and 14 touchdowns, has been their bread and butter.
Boise State, on the other hand, boasts a 10-1 record and a shot at the CFP. They’ve been finding ways to win, but their recent performances haven’t been dominant. They squeaked out a 17-13 win over Wyoming last week and barely held off Nevada and San Jose State in previous games. While Maddux Madsen has been efficient through the air and Ashton Jeanty has been a monster on the ground with 2,062 rushing yards and 27 scores, the Broncos haven’t looked like a team firing on all cylinders lately.
Oregon State comes in as the underdog, which has been a favorable role for them—covering the spread in their last three games. Boise State’s lack of dominance in recent matchups gives me confidence in taking the Beavers with the points. They’ve proven they can hang in tough spots, and I’m not sold on the Broncos running away with this one.

Michigan +21 Versus Ohio State
We're rolling with Michigan and taking the points here. Look, Ohio State might have the flashier offense, the big-name playmakers, and the eye-popping stats, but Michigan knows how to win this matchup—and they've shown it over the past couple of years. The Wolverines don’t need to play pretty football; they need to play their style: pound the rock, control the clock, and keep OSU’s explosive offense off the field.
Michigan’s rushing attack hasn’t been the most consistent this season, but they showed flashes last week with over 200 yards on the ground in a dominating win over Northwestern. This offensive line has dealt with injuries and shuffling, but when they execute, they’re still capable of moving the chains and controlling games. Defensively, Michigan isn’t going to roll over, either. They’ll make it tough for OSU to hit those big plays and force them to earn every yard.
Ohio State has the talent edge, especially at the skill positions, but the mental toughness of this team—led by Ryan Day—doesn’t inspire confidence. Michigan knows what it takes to battle in this rivalry and has proven they can make it a game late. Sure, Ohio State might pull off the win, but expecting them to run away with it? Not happening. Wolverines cover.
