Way-Too-Early 30-Round College Fantasy Football Draft Breakdown
Kevin analyzes his recent CFF mock that he drafted in hopes of helping CFF degenerates and drafters.
It might feel early to dive into College Fantasy Football (CFF), but if you want to stay ahead of the competition, now is the time to start shaping your draft strategy. In this article, I’m breaking down a full 30-round CFF draft, highlighting players I expect to make a major impact this season, along with some key values that could give you an edge.
Most early CFF content is locked behind a paywall, but I wanted to get early draft boards and ADP trends out in the open for everyone. This mock was run by one of our Discord members, and we’ll be running these all year long to help sharpen rankings and player evaluations. If you want to join in on future mocks, just comment below, and I will connect you with the person running the leagues. It’s also just $1 to get into our Discord—a small price to pay for staying ahead of your league.
This draft was conducted under Superflex/PPR scoring settings, which adds extra value to quarterbacks and pass-catching backs and receivers. Below is the full draft board, along with my thoughts on key picks, potential steals, and players who could shape the 2025 CFF season. Let’s dive in.

Quarterbacks
Devon Dampier – Utah
(2024: QB6 – 401 Total Fantasy Points / 33.42 FP/G)
Dampier was a massive portal win for Utah, bringing his dynamic dual-threat ability to an offense that’s primed for a major overhaul. He’s reuniting with offensive coordinator Jason Beck after an electric 2024 season at New Mexico, where he racked up 2,768 passing yards, 1,166 rushing yards, and 31 total touchdowns. His ability to extend plays and make defenders miss makes him one of the most dangerous quarterbacks in CFF this year.
Beck’s system is built around the RPO, and Dampier thrives in that environment. At New Mexico, he led one of the most efficient rushing attacks in the country, and that rushing upside alone gives him elite fantasy potential. He’s not just a runner, though—his ability to keep plays alive and push the ball downfield gives him added value in Superflex leagues.
Of course, there are areas for improvement. Dampier’s completion percentage (57.9%) and 1:1 TD-to-INT ratio (12 TDs, 12 INTs) in 2024 leave room for refinement as a passer. But with a year of experience under his belt and a scheme he already knows like the back of his hand, he has all the tools to take a major step forward. Utah hasn’t had a true dual-threat quarterback of this caliber since the Alex Smith era, and if Dampier can take even a small leap in the passing game, he could be a league-winner in CFF.
Demond Williams – Washington
(2024: 119.7 Total Fantasy Points / 9.21 FP/G)
Washington head coach Jedd Fisch called Demond Williams Jr. the “future face of the program” long before he took meaningful snaps, and after his Sun Bowl performance, that prediction looks spot-on. Despite a limited role early in the season, Williams flashed elite upside when given the opportunity, capping off the year with over 420 total yards and five touchdowns in his bowl game.
Williams' efficiency is off the charts. Completing 78.1% of his passes for 944 yards and 8 touchdowns while adding 282 rushing yards on 83 carries, he showed the kind of dual-threat potential that CFF managers dream of. His 9.0 yards per attempt through the air and 3.4 yards per carry on the ground highlight his ability to make plays in multiple ways.
While he still needs to gain experience as a full-time starter, the tools are all there. His accuracy, decision-making, and poise under pressure make him an intriguing breakout candidate. If Washington fully commits to him as their guy, Williams has the upside to be a difference-maker in Superflex formats, especially given his rushing potential.
Micah Alejado - Hawaii
(2024: 59.95 Total Fantasy Points/14.99 FP/G)
If you’re playing CFF, finding a Hawaii quarterback in a Timmy Chang offense is a cheat code. Micah Alejado stepped into the role and immediately turned heads with a record-setting debut. In his first start, he lit up New Mexico for 469 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his ability to thrive in the run-and-shoot system.
Despite being undersized at 5’10", 160 pounds, Alejado has an elite football IQ, quick decision-making, and impressive accuracy. He put up gaudy high school numbers at Bishop Gorman, throwing for 2,714 yards, 35 touchdowns, and zero interceptions while completing 77.4% of his passes. That level of efficiency has carried over to his college career, where he operates smoothly in the pocket and isn’t afraid to push the ball downfield.
With a year to adjust and a full offseason in Chang’s system, Alejado is primed to put up serious fantasy numbers. He’s an absolute steal in early drafts, and as long as he’s the starter, he’ll be a top-tier option in Superflex leagues.
Owen McCown - UTSA
(2024: QB23 - 313.30 Total Fantasy Points/24.1 FP/G)
McCown entered the 2023 season as a relative unknown but quickly made his mark after taking over UTSA’s starting job. The former Colorado transfer had an impressive season, throwing for 3,171 yards, 24 touchdowns, and just nine interceptions while leading the Roadrunners to a 7-6 record and a bowl victory over Coastal Carolina.
The son of longtime NFL quarterback Josh McCown, Owen brings a high football IQ, great pocket awareness, and dual-threat ability. He showcased that throughout 2024, adding 340 rushing yards and three scores on the ground. His standout performances included a school-record 434-yard, four-touchdown game against Tulsa and a 379-yard effort versus North Texas where he also rushed for 88 yards.
With a full season under his belt and UTSA’s offense built around him, McCown is locked in as the starter heading into 2025. His combination of passing volume, rushing upside, and experience makes him a valuable CFF asset, especially in Superflex formats. If UTSA’s offense continues its upward trajectory, McCown could push for a top-15 finish among CFF quarterbacks.
