Dynasty
New England Patriots QB Drake Maye - (QB10)
Drake Maye has climbed into the top 10 of my rankings, and for good reason. Despite dealing with a porous offensive line and a revolving door of starting linemen during his rookie campaign, Maye showcased incredible poise and resilience under pressure. In his 13 starts, he was sacked 34 times, but unlike other rookie quarterbacks the sacks aren’t attributed to him.
Maye's mobility was another standout aspect of his game. His 421 rushing yards on 54 carries (7.8 yards per attempt) placed him among elite company, offering a dynamic threat that the Patriots have rarely seen at quarterback. While New England’s offense struggled in 2024, Maye emerged as a bright spot, delivering solid fantasy production as the QB14 from Week 6 onward, averaging 16.8 fantasy points per game.
Looking ahead, the Patriots are making moves to bolster the offense around Maye, including plans to bring in a more established coaching staff. Maye could be poised for a sophomore breakout if they manage to secure a legitimate WR1 through the draft or free agency. His mobility, combined with improved support, makes him a top-10 quarterback in dynasty.
Carolina Panthers RB - Chuba Hubbard (RB17)
Chuba Hubbard has proven himself this season, solidifying his position as the Panthers' lead back and earning a well-deserved four-year, $33.2 million extension. Hubbard has set career-highs in scrimmage yards (1,366) and touchdowns (11) despite Carolina’s shaky offense. With a Grade 2 calf strain ending his season early, his production was still a bright spot for the team.
Hubbard’s path to this role hasn’t been easy. From backing up Christian McCaffrey to competing with D’Onta Foreman and Miles Sanders, he’s steadily climbed the depth chart. When Carolina drafted Jonathon Brooks, it seemed like Hubbard’s time as the lead back might be short-lived. Instead, Hubbard seized the opportunity and proved he could handle a full workload.
Looking ahead, Hubbard’s contract and the uncertainty surrounding Brooks’ recovery from an ACL tear position him as the Panthers’ primary back next season. With a lack of depth in the running back room and a guaranteed workload, Hubbard offers a reliable floor for fantasy managers. His volume alone makes him a solid RB option for 2025.
Los Angeles Chargers WR - Ladd McConkey (WR20)
Ladd McConkey has shattered expectations in his rookie season, setting Chargers franchise records for receptions (82) and receiving yards (1,149) by a rookie. Despite being snubbed from the Pro Bowl, McConkey’s performance has been integral to the Chargers’ offensive success, helping them secure a wild card spot. With nine consecutive games of 50+ receiving yards, he’s demonstrated remarkable consistency.
From a fantasy perspective, McConkey is locked in as a WR2 heading into next season. Even if the Chargers add another weapon, McConkey’s production and role in the offense suggest he will remain a key target for quarterback Justin Herbert. Fantasy managers should feel confident in his ability to build on an outstanding rookie campaign and deliver consistent results in Year 2.
Devy
South Carolina QB - LaNorris Sellers (QB7)
LaNorris Sellers exploded onto the scene during the 2024 campaign, leading South Carolina to its most successful season in over a decade. His dual-threat ability made him one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in college football, and his impact on the field was undeniable. Sellers threw for 2,274 yards and 17 touchdowns with a 64.9% completion rate, showing flashes of brilliance as a passer. On the ground, he added 655 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, cementing himself as a nightmare for opposing defenses.
What’s most impressive about Sellers is his progression over the course of the season. Early on, he leaned heavily on his rushing ability, but as the year went on, he became more comfortable in the pocket and displayed improved accuracy and decision-making. A pivotal moment in his growth came after a tough loss to Alabama, where he bounced back with several standout performances, including a career-best 353 yards and five touchdowns against Missouri. In the season finale against Clemson, Sellers delivered South Carolina’s biggest win of the year, rushing for a season-high 166 yards and scoring the game-winning touchdown.
Sellers’ emergence has made him a cornerstone of Shane Beamer’s program, and he’ll undoubtedly be the key to South Carolina’s continued success. From a devy perspective, Sellers offers an intriguing blend of traits. His rushing upside alone makes him a valuable asset, but his development as a passer is what could elevate him to a top-tier prospect. If he continues to improve his mechanics, decision-making, and consistency, he could be a significant riser in the 2026 quarterback class.
While I typically avoid drafting quarterbacks early in devy leagues, Sellers is hard to ignore, given his ceiling. His ability to contribute both as a rusher and a passer makes him a high-upside option for managers willing to invest in his potential. As he heads into the 2025 season, Sellers is poised to build on an impressive 2024, and his trajectory suggests he could become one of the premier quarterbacks in college football.
Notre Dame RB - Jeremiyah Love (RB5)
Jeremiyah Love has been a game-changer for Notre Dame this season, putting together a great season for the Fighting Irish. Love amassed 1,121 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns on just 159 carries, averaging a remarkable 7.3 yards per attempt. His versatility extended to the passing game, where he hauled in 26 receptions for 232 yards and two additional scores. Whether on the ground or through the air, Love consistently demonstrated his ability to make big plays.
One of the standout moments of his season was his electrifying touchdown run against Penn State, a highlight that showcased his elite combination of size, speed, and explosiveness. Love is a true home run threat, capable of breaking off a big play from anywhere on the field. Despite sustaining a leg injury against Georgia, his resilience and determination carried him through their game against the Nittany Lions, helping propel Notre Dame to a national championship appearance.
What makes Love particularly exciting from a devy perspective is his upside as the clear RB1 in the 2026 class. His track background translates into timed speed that pops on the field, and his explosiveness is complemented by a strong, sturdy frame that enables him to handle a full workload. While he’ll need more reps as a receiver to round out his game fully, he’s already shown flashes of ability in this area. With more refinement, Love could evolve into a versatile weapon that can contribute in multiple ways at the next level.
As a devy manager, it’s rare to find a player with Love’s unique skill set and ceiling. His blend of physical traits and proven production make him a cornerstone prospect for fantasy football, and he has all the tools to become a difference-maker in the NFL. Right now, he’s worth a top-5 pick in rookie drafts.
Clemson WR - Bryant Wesco (WR12)
Clemson’s season might have ended in the College Football Playoff, but the program is clearly on the rise. Winning the ACC Title in 2024 and securing another double-digit win season has them positioned for another strong campaign in 2025. With quarterback Cade Klubnik likely returning for his senior year, the Tigers will boast one of the nation's top offenses.
A major piece of Clemson’s offensive future is wide receiver Bryant Wesco. Wesco delivered an impressive freshman season, earning a spot on ESPN’s freshman All-American team. He tallied 41 receptions, 708 yards, and five touchdowns, with a stellar 17.3 yards per catch average. Wesco shined brightest in the ACC Championship Game, where he hauled in eight catches for 143 yards and two scores.
Standing 6’2” with explosive playmaking ability, Wesco is a versatile WR1 prospect who can dominate at all levels of the field. He combines excellent ball-tracking skills with the ability to win contested catches and stretch the field vertically. His multi-sport background and athletic pedigree add to his upside, making him a future NFL Draft early-round candidate.
Wesco and fellow standout WR T.J. Moore make Clemson’s receiving corps one of the best in devy leagues. Wesco’s value was a steal last season, but after another strong year in 2025, he could solidify himself as a first-round pick in devy drafts. Keep him on your radar—his stock is only trending upward.
